Assemblyman Matt Milam
A trusted champion of working families, Matt Milam shows a tireless work ethic while facing the same struggles many of us face.
A longtime resident of Vineland, Matt is dedicated to the livelihood of working families in South Jersey. Matt was the primary caregiver for the last five years of his paralyzed father’s life, while also helping to care for his paralyzed brother. He also took over the responsibility for the family business, which provides nearly 100 local jobs. He understands tough times, and buckles down to get the job done.
As our Assemblyman, Matt’s brought his tireless work ethic and compassion to Trenton. He led the fight for a new law that provides businesses with a tax credit for every new job created, and will continue his work to put New Jersey’s economy back on track, while cutting the cost of state government and stamping out corruption. He’s taken action to get rid of corrupt politicians while fighting—often with his own party—to cut the cost of government.
Matt’s dedication to working families and his community led him into public life. He served as Vice-Chairman of the Cumberland County Economic Development Board and as a member of the Vineland YMCA board of directors. He is also finance chairman and an active volunteer at Vineland’s First United Methodist Church.
Matt and his wife live in Vineland with their two daughters.
